Our Family

We are nothing more than a family from northern Indiana on a mission to bring God glory in all that we do.  We have been serving with Missionary Ventures in Yurimaguas, Peru since 2016.

Josh was born and raised near Goshen, Indiana and spent most of his life there. He has worked in many different fields including as a mechanic, a golf professional, and in an RV factory. He enjoys new challenges and is a "jack of all trades."

Josh and Jennifer were high school sweethearts.  After high school she attended Butler University and studied psychology and Spanish. Jennifer spent her years in the workforce serving the Hispanic community and working in healthcare.  Once Lucy was born, she had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mother.  Jennifer enjoys gardening, friends, and family.

We were blessed with our firstborn, Lucy, in 2009. She loves Jesus and is seeking after Him.

Lucy is very adaptable.  She enjoys dressing up for events in town but she also thrives when we're traveling through the jungle and visiting villages.

Lucy loves young children, especially babies.  She is very kind and responsible.  Lucy hopes to be a wife and mother someday.

In her free time, she is often found in the hammock reading a book.  She enjoys baking, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

Henry was born in 2012. He is kind, sensitive, and silly.  He loves the Lord, is passionate about sharing his faith with others, and desires to know more about God.

Henry is living every boys dream growing up in the jungle.  He enjoys nature and wants to study the rain forest.

Henry loves laughter and making others laugh.  He makes friends wherever he goes.

Henry enjoys playing soccer, traveling the river, reading, caring for animals, and pestering his sisters!

Our family grew once more in 2015 when Maggie was born and our lives have never been the same.  She is sweet and spunky and exudes joy.

Maggie loves to play, put together puzzles, and do crafts.  She is very excited to finally be "in school" like her siblings.

Maggie is very Yurimaguina.  She loves rice, fish, plantain, and all sorts of jungle fruits.  She is not so excited about the cuisine when we visit the states!
